Our home is a well presented, modern, one and a half storey house offering comfortable accommodation in the heart of the picturesque village of Ardfern, Argyll.
The village is located at the head of Loch Craignish, with magnificent views of the Sound of Jura and the islands of Jura and Scarba separated by the famous Gulf of Corrivreckan.
Ardfern provides the usual village amenities including an excellent village store, 200 year old droving Inn, café and craft shop as well as the popular Ardfern Yacht Centre which provides marina facilities for local and visiting yachts wishing to explore the west coast of Scotland.
Topi has lived in Ardfern for thirty years, working in local hotels and restaurants and further up the coast on Knoydart. She has also worked as first mate and cook on the Classic Malt Cruise.
She is a seasoned traveller to many parts of the world, and has completed many long distance walks both here in Britain and abroad.
Mark is originally from Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire where he was Managing Director of the family printing business.
Prior to moving to Ardfern he was a leader in the Scout Movement, a member of Halifax Concert Band and an RYA senior dinghy sailing instructor.
Mark kept the family yacht in Ardfern for twenty years and enjoys sailing around the west coast of Scotland combined with walking and climbing the many island peaks.
